Saludos

http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 4&start=15“…in August 1941,the commander of the 1st Russian tank division, General Baranov called one of his company commanders, Senior Lieutenant Kolobanov and ordered him to control and defend a road leading to Krasnogvardeisk and crossroad near Voiskovizy village. Kolobanov inspected the battlefield and ordered to his four KV tanks to disguise themselves and capture the heights near the road. He decided to position his KV near the crossroad. By 2.00 p.m on the road some dust was seen. The tank commander ordered his crew to prepare for the combat. First they saw three motor-cycles but Kolobanov gave an order to let them go. Shortly after that they saw a long tank column. In front some staff vehicles and then tanks. The tank column seemed to have no end. The head of the column crossed the crossroad and moved further on. The distance to the enemy tanks was just 150 meters and KV crew saw everything very clearly: Pz-III and Pz-IV tanks were moving at the short distance. Some tank hatches were open and some solders were seated on the armor. Kolobanov counted twenty two German tanks against one KV. He ordered to attack the very first tank and with the first shell destroyed it. Other tanks kept moving forward shortening the distance among them. Kolobanov destroyed the second tank and shifted fire at the nail of the column in order to block it in the marshy locality span by both sides of the road. The German tanks were caught by surprise but shortly started to look for a Russian tank and then revealed it. The tank combat started. KV gun was shooting at German tanks, which at their turn were firing at KV. Kolobanov and his crew were getting death from shell hits and were choking with gun gases. This combat lasted for more than an hour. Then firing and shooting at the Russian KV tank stopped. ALL TWENTY TWO GERMAN TANKS WERE DESTROYED AND BURNT. KV shifted its position and noticed German anti-tank gun, which was immediately destroyed. After the combat KV’s crew counted A HUNDRED FOURTY SEVEN DIRECT HITS. BUT RUSSIAN TANK SURVIVED AND GERMAN SHELLS FAILED TO PENETRATE ITS ARMOR. Other KV tanks from Kolobanov’s company fought also well at that day. The Russian company of the Senior Leitenant Kolobanov destroyed FOURTY THREE GERMAN TANKS AT THAT DAY.
